John  Guerriero


John is an experienced litigator who has represented numerous clients in mass tort, product liability, and toxic tort matters. He is experienced in all phases of litigation, including trial, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations. John has extensive litigation experience defending asbestos claims against contractors, suppliers, premises owners and manufacturers of various equipment, including construction materials, automotive parts, plumbing equipment, heating units and home improvement materials. John also served as national discovery counsel for a large automotive component manufacturer, requiring the supervision of local counsel throughout the United States and the management of a large document repository. In addition, John aggressively pursued fraudulent medical claims on behalf of insurers.

John began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting criminal matters involving drug offenses and sensitive cases in the Special Victims Unit. He also traveled to elementary schools, teaching basic elements of criminal law to students.

John serves as President of the Nassau Shores Civic Association, which is dedicated to strengthening the community and liaising between residents and elected officials. In addition, he is a competitive league bowler and also performs stand-up comedy at various venues.
